Acrylic art object with separate acrylic transparent base that allows to place it upright. It can also be placed lying down as presse-papier! It presents the Athena’s owl. The little owl (Athene noctua) of Greek Mythology accompanies Athena, the virgin goddess of wisdom! Athens adopted owl as symbol of the city, as proof of allegiance to Athena and the owl was the common obverse of the Athenian tetradrachms after 510 BC. The form of this prototype artwork by Mediterraneo is based on the ancient Athenian coins iconography.
