Description
Acrylic art object with separate acrylic transparent base that allows to place it upright. It can also be placed lying down as presse-papier! It presents an archaic Kore from the ones discovered at Akropolis, Athens at the end of the 19th century. They are dated from 570 BC to 480 BC. This specific artwork is inspired by the Kore nr 675 of the Acropolis Museum, also named “Chios Kore”. Vivid traces of the colourful decoration are visible on the prototype, which is dated in 510 BC.
